Planning Your Moose Hunt
Planning an American plan moose hunt is relatively easy. Decide on the area you want to hunt, determine if your looking for an archery or a rifle hunt, and contact the outfitters in that area regarding the availability of tags. Bull tags are in high demand so don't expect a bull moose hunt to be as easy to book. There are generally more cow and calf tags available. Book your trip early - even more than a year in advance - to avoid disappointment.
